Ryan Wiramidjaja is an Indonesian-American freelance photographer based in Washington, D.C., whose work has been published by NPR. He graduated from Temple University in 2021 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies. During his time in college, Ryan participated in a mentorship with Steve Winter from National Geographic, which helped him transition his skills as a wildlife photographer into photojournalism.

Since graduating, Ryan has taken part in the 2023 Mountain Photo Workshop in Kentucky, where he documented the town of Paris and its residents. In 2024, he was published by NPR.

Ryan's main interests focus on sustainability and conservation, and he hopes to center his photography around these themes in the future.
